For the past few weeks my mom has been learning how to do genealogy the modern way... via computer! She has found so many names on her side and she feels very strongly about doing my father's side of the family as well. It has been a very spiritual experience for us all. I have been on line looking for birth dates and death dates and I began feeling a sense of closeness to my father's family that I have never felt. My dad was a convert and for the most part his entire family are non members, needless to say there is lots of work to be done.
Today Josh and I went with my mom, Nathan and Brandi to start the family work by completeing baptisms and confirmations. I have not done this type of work since before Josh and I were married, I am so glad I was able to participate today! Sitting in the baptistry with my family was amazing! The Spirit is so strong!
Entering into the water to meet my Eternal Companion is a memory I will never forget! I teared up as I grabbed his hands and he placed his hand on my lower back. Hearing him speak those sacred words and feeling each of those Spirits happiness was incredible! I stayed around to watch the rest of the baptisms be completed. I was overwhelmed with peace. The confirmations were amazing as well!
I am so thankful for our ability to do work by proxy and to feel of the blessings of the Temple! I am thankful to have a worthy husband who enjoys taking me to the Temple. I am thankful to have a family that can enjoy the blessings of the Temple together! I can't wait for many more of these experiences!

I love that feeling and family names just give it to you stronger and stronger. I really hope we get to hug all of them in the next life. I am just afraid they might be mad we took sooooooo long to get it done, but I hope not. See you on Friday. Love you
