Yesterday was our OB appointment and Odin came with us to find out if we would be having a baby brother or baby sister. Josh and I put in our final guess before we walked into the office... his vote boy and mine girl. I tried to make the wager be that whomever was correct got to pick the name! Josh and I have not been able to see eye to eye on girl names and he quickly rejected my little wager! The appointment went well... all 10 fingers and all 10 toes! Baby is growing great and has all of the correct organs in the right places! After all the measurements were taken the big reveal...
It's a BOY!!!!!
Baby brother, Rykr Chief Welker is on track to make his presence known on January 13, 2010! We are so excited and even more excited to deliver a healthy baby boy at Banner Gateway Medical Center! Thanks for all that participated in our poll!

Yea!! Another little boy in the Welker clan. Odin and Rykr will be such wonderful buds just like Josh and Matt!! It has always been amazing how these boys are always there for each other, especially during the rough times! I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father is sending another honorable priesthood holder (no doubt Odin & Rykr will be like Josh & Matt-what great examples!) I love all of you eternally-Momma, Grandma

I absolutely adore the name. Its perfect! I love 'unique' names...and his is so perfect! Can't wait to meet the little guy! :)
